Education
Year Qualification Where 2002 Film / TV Production and Media and Performing Arts Savannah College of Art and Design About me
After graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2002, with degrees in FILM/VIDEO PRODUCTION and MEDIA AND PERFORMING ARTS, I moved to NYC to dive head first into the production resurgence triggered by the New York City and State Film / Video tax incentive legislation. From 2003 to 2010 I worked at Radioaktivefilm, producing independent documentaries addressing social and political issues in modern society. Notable titles from her time managing Radioaktivefilm's New York City arm include We Will Not Die Like Dogs, Palestine Blues and Pennhurst. While navigating New York City's independent film waters, I saw a need for a centralized and intimate event catering to up and coming feature film and documentary talent to gain more exposure in the worldwide marketplace. In 2012, I conceived and launched First Time Fest, a 5-day showcase of original inspiring works by First Time Directors, Producers, Cinematographers, Editors, Screenwriters and Film Composers. The film festival located in New York’s Gramercy Park features 9 Competition Films, a First Exposure series of already prominent directors' first works and a 'How They Did It' Series in an intimate setting. Most notable, First Time Fest is a “contest” disguised as a film festival offering the winning competition film a prize of Theatrical Distribution and International Sales Representation. In the first year alone the festival hosted names such as Martin Scorsese, Sofia Coppola, Darren Aronofsky, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Harry Belafonte, Todd Solondz, Christine Vachon, and many more. I continue to oversee festival operations with her business partner Johanna Bennett. When I'm not navigating the demands of First Time Fest, I work in various capacities on the physical production of feature films, scripted television series, reality and recreational tv series as well as documentaries, commercials and corporate promos. In between the festival and my production gigs I work tirelessly finding and developing intellectual materials in the feature film, documentary and TV spaces. Most recently I just produced SELL BY directed by Mike Doyle staring Patricia Clarkson, Kate Walsh, and Scott Evans set to be in theaters April of 2020.Skills

Mandy Ward Boltz
WARD, AMANDA LYNN (MANDY) - It is with our deepest sympathies that we announce the passing of Amanda Lynn (Mandy) Ward, a beloved mother, wife, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, niece and sister in law. She passed peacefully in her sleep with all of our love and support behind her on January 15, 2008 at the age of 35. Mandy's dream was to make a loving home with Billy and Connor and that, they accomplished together. She accomplished these dreams as well as many others during her lifetime She led a very full life while she was with us, lived every day to the fullest and made the people around her feel loved at all times. She will be sadly missed by her parents, Clarence and Madeline (Kelly) Ward of Sussex Corner; her husband, Billy Belding; her son, Connor Ward at home; her sister, Laurie Gaudet and her husband, Rob of St-Antoine; her paternal grandmother, Francis Ward of Gambo, NL; as well as her niece and nephew, Denika and Jayden. Mandy was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Michael and Dorothy Kelly and her paternal grandfather, Simon Ward. Mandy worked at Shell Aviation in Edmonton, AB for the past 8 years and loved her work as a Customer Service Supervisor. She made many true and loving friends along the way who will sadly miss her as our family does. She was a very dedicated worker, mother and friend to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She had her own way of making someone else's day be better and brighter. She fought a long and hard battle with cancer and we consider her to be a survivor for what she had to live with. She will always remain a survivor in our hearts. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). The Funeral Service will be held from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic on Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at 11:00 am. There will be a time of fellowship with the family in the Church Hall immediately following the service. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, the family would request that donations be made to charity of their choice. www.wallacefuneralhome.com
